Office Coordinator

Established medical practice in Crowley is seeking an Office Coordinator. This role will report to the practice providers who are offering Competitive Pay, Flexible Schedule, Paid Holidays & PTO.

Role Requirements:

Degree or certification in Business Management preferred, experience in medical office and/or business accounting mandatory. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance regulations and processes pertaining to practice and providers and knowledge of medical billing and coding preferred

Familiarity with MS Office applications (Excel, Word), computer literacy and experience with EHR (electronic health record) required

Professionalism, pleasant and friendly personality, proper phone etiquette with ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records are necessary. Flexibility required as practice dynamic shifts and responsibilities morph to meet the needs of the practice. Strong organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills; detail oriented with willingness to learn and grow in an expanding medical practice with ability to participate in a team approach to achieve the ultimate goals of success for the practice required.

Role Expectations/Duties:

Ensures smooth daily operation of medical practice with two providers

Manages administrative tasks of office

Organization and management of administrative accounting/financial records and documentation and medical records

Coordination of office productivity, management of supplies, organization of office environment

Management and completion of administrative financial accounting (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll)

Management and Coordination of Provider schedules

Assist with HR functions and maintain HR records

Act as liaison between the practice/providers and staff, vendors, business associates, etc.

Adhere to professional boundaries and confidentiality requirements

Maintenance of quality assurance through audits and correction plans to ensure accurate and productive workflow throughout practice

Organization and maintenance of practice and provider licensing, certification, credentialing and contracts

Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned or removed as required to meet the needs of the practice
