The School of Teacher Education within the College of Education and Behavioral Services is pleased to announce we are seeking applications for the position of Office Coordinator.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists the director and assistant director with specific assignments and special projects
• Maintains appointment calendar, prepares schedules and makes travel arrangements
• Performs a variety of secretarial duties to include word processing, spreadsheet and database management
• Maintains all administrative filing and budgetary records in order to accurately document various activities within the School
• Supervises and coordinates workload of student workers
• Assists in planning and coordinating meetings, recruitment events, and other special functions
• Oversees office supplies and places orders when necessary
• Prepares documents using Microsoft Office Suite
• Provides excellent customer service to all internal and external constituents
• Assists individuals throughout the School as needed

• Ability to establish priorities and work independently
• Organized and detail oriented with the capacity to work in a busy environment with frequent interruptions
• Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills, customer service skills, problem solving and decision making skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and interact professionally with a variety of individuals including faculty, staff, administration, and vendors
• Ability to concentrate on computer applications for extended periods of time
• Computer literacy and proficiency to include Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of modern office equipment
• Ability to perform in a competent manner following the highest standards of professionalism, integrity accountability, responsibility, cooperation, and customer service

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent plus 2 years administrative experience

Additional Information:

Hourly Range: $19.00 - $19.70
