Office Manager

Ourisman Automotive Group is looking for an Experienced Automotive Office Manager to join our team at our Chevrolet and Kia store in Baltimore. An ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of automotive accounting with at least 2 years experience, strong leadership and management skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and experience with Reynolds Ignite. This position is critical to the success of the daily operations of the office and will work closely with the Controller to ensure financial accuracy and support the dealership's operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the controller with managing accounting staff
  • Oversee all accounting transactions including GL entries, bank statements, A/P, A/R, deal booking and tag and title
  • Research, reconcile and clean accounting schedules with discernment
  • Monitor and track payments from outside vendors and manufacturers
  • Communicate professionally with vendors, customers, employees
  • Prepare commission and bonus reports
  • Read and report on monthly expense trends
  • Attend regular meetings to review and communicate asset management
  • Prepare monthly financial statements in conjunction with the controller
  • Post and reconcile daily bank activity
  • Train and develop accounting personnel

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of Automotive accounting experience
  • Reynolds, Ignite experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
  • High level of integrity
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug test

Pay: $55,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
