Office Manager – Pest Control Operations
Job Summary
The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing daily administrative and operational functions within a pest control company. This role ensures effective coordination between office staff, field technicians, and customers while supporting scheduling, financial processes, and overall service efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage day-to-day office operations, including records management, reporting, supplies, and office equipment.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, service issues, and billing matters.
· Coordinate technician schedules, dispatch services, confirm appointments, and manage work orders.
· Support financial operations, including invoicing, accounts receivable and payable, deposits, statements, and payroll assistance.
· Supervise and support customer service staff, assist with onboarding, and promote effective internal communication.
· Maintain accurate customer records, service histories, and operational or financial reports.
· Support regulatory compliance, procedural standards, and continuous operational improvement.
Required Skills and Competencies
· Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
· Proficiency with office software, CRM systems, and computer-based tools.
· Ability to multitask, maintain attention to detail, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Customer-focused mindset with a high standard of service.
· Prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED required, associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
· Minimum of two years of experience in office management, customer service, or a related administrative role.
· Background check and drug screening may be required.
· Pest control industry experience is a plus but not required; training provided.
