Office Manager

Job Summary

The Office Manager provides office and human resources leadership for the warehouse location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains an effective rapport with all staff
  • Oversees employee, accounting, payroll and banking duties for location
  • Prepares payroll spreadsheets, fixes timesheet/time clock mistakes and adds incentives
  • Generates labor hours and vacation/sick time reports
  • Processes new hire information and sends it to corporate office
  • Creates and maintains digital employee files
  • Verifies employment and salary surveys
  • Enters sales information into handhelds
  • Generates expired license reports for region managers
  • Oversees all accounts payable and receivable duties for the location
  • Oversees process for collecting on checks returned for insufficient funds
  • Oversees and trains office personnel to ensure they are doing their jobs properly
  • Coaches and develops office personnel to find solutions based on the root cause of the issue
  • Communicates ideas and feedback clearly and effectively to enhance employee performance
  • Completes training, seminars and classes as assigned
  • Generates daily, weekly and monthly reports accurately and on time
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:

Job Requirements

  • A qualified Office Manager must have 1-3 years of related experience
  • Must possess excellent clerical and customer service skills
  • Must possess solid computer and math skills
  • Must be able to clearly, thoroughly and respectfully communicate with others
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. In this position, employees will drive several hours per shift. May have to lift up to 50 pounds.
