Job Summary

The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily administrative operations of Lagu Sanitation. This position ensures efficient office procedures, supports operational activities, manages office personnel, and assists with customer service, billing, payroll administration, and regulatory compliance. The Office Manager serves as a key liaison between management, office staff, drivers, customers, and vendors to support the company's waste collection and sanitation services.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the office and ensure efficient administrative processes.
  • Supervise and support office staff, including assigning duties and monitoring performance.
  • Coordinate communication between management, dispatch personnel, drivers, and customers.
  • Maintain company records, contracts, permits, licenses, and other administrative documents.
  • Process customer accounts, service requests, billing inquiries, and complaints.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
  • Assist with payroll preparation, employee timekeeping, and personnel records maintenance.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, spreadsheets, and other business documents.
  • Monitor office supply inventory and coordinate purchasing of office materials and equipment.
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and company activities as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Support management with budgeting, operational reporting, and special projects.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee, customer, and company information.
  • Assist with recordkeeping related to fleet operations, vehicle registrations, and insurance documentation.
  • Promote a professional and customer-focused office environment.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of office management or administrative supervisory experience.
  • Experience in sanitation, transportation, construction, or a related industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of payroll, billing, and general office accounting practices.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
