Salt & Summit Design Build Inc. is a licensed general contracting firm in Laguna Beach focused on high-end residential construction, renovations, and design-build projects. We are growing quickly and are looking for a full-time, in-office team member who can help run the operational backbone of the company.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, reliable, tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and excited to help a fast-growing construction firm scale.
Position Summary
We are looking for a full-time, in-office Office Manager / Accounting Assistant / Marketing Coordinator / Executive Assistant who can manage the day-to-day backend operations of the company.
This is a multi-role position. You will be involved in accounting support, office administration, marketing tasks, bookkeeping coordination, vendor communication, scheduling, and helping the owner manage and grow the company.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Bookkeeping Support
- Assist with QuickBooks Online (training provided if needed)
- Organize receipts via Dext
- Track expenses and job costs
- Help prepare financial reports
- Coordinate with bookkeepers / CPA
- Maintain vendor records, W-9s, invoices, and purchase orders
- Assist with payroll documentation and onboarding employees
Office Management
- Maintain organized digital filing systems
- Manage email, scheduling, and communication
- Prepare documents, estimates, and proposals
- Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
- Order supplies as needed
- Assist with permits, forms, city submissions (training provided)
Marketing & Branding Support
- Update social media channels
- Manage company website updates (basic editing)
- Assist with photo/video content organization
- Help prepare marketing materials, presentations, and brochures
- Maintain branding and project portfolios
Executive Assistance
- Support the owner with administrative tasks
- Help streamline systems, processes, and workflows
- Coordinate appointments, meetings, and follow-ups
- Handle confidential information with professionalism
- Support overall operations and company growth
Qualifications
- Must be able to work in person at least 4–5 days per week in Laguna Beach
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Tech savvy — comfortable with:
- QuickBooks Online (or willing to learn)
- Google Drive
- Excel / Sheets
- Email management
- Dext
- Social media platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude and ability to multitask
- Self-starter who can anticipate needs
- Experience in construction/real estate industry is a big plus but not required
- Marketing or administrative experience is a plus
- Must be reliable, trustworthy, and professional
Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday–Friday (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
- In-office in Laguna Beach, CA
Compensation
- $22 – $32 per hour depending on experience
- Opportunities for bonuses as the company grows
