Office Manager / Bookkeeper

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Office Administrator / Bookkeeper to support the daily operations of our growing company. This position is responsible for administrative, bookkeeping, scheduling, and office coordination duties to help ensure efficient day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, hardworking, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and strong communication.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of office administration and/or bookkeeping experience

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Answer incoming calls and assist customers professionally
  • Schedule appointments for estimators and coordinate calendars
  • Process invoicing for repairs and reroof projects
  • Collect customer payments and assist with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Complete employee timecards and assist with payroll processing
  • On Boarding and off boarding
  • Obtain permits and schedule city/county inspections
  • Open vendor accounts and maintain company business licenses
  • Assist with job costing and project tracking
  • Maintain organized records, files, and office documentation
  • Support daily office operations and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of office administration and/or bookkeeping experience
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
  • Experience processing payroll, accounts receivable (AR), and accounts payable (AP)
  • Understanding of job costing, invoicing, and project expense tracking

Preferred Qualities

  • Experience in construction, roofing, or service-based industries preferred
  • Ability to adapt in a growing and fast-paced company environment
  • Positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage vendor invoices, subcontractor payments, and collections

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (Preferred)
