Pabst Labs is seeking an Office Manager & HR Assistant to support the smooth and efficient functioning of our Desert Hot Springs manufacturing facility. In this dynamic role, you will manage day

organized office environment, and provide HR support across recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and employee engagement.

paced production environment and is comfortable wearing multiple hats. You will play a key role in supporting plant leadership, enhancing internal processes, and ensuring a positive employee experience as our business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
Office Management

Oversee daily administrative operations for the manufacturing facility.

Serve as primary point of contact for employees, vendors, and visitors.

Manage office supplies, equipment, purchasing, and inventory.

Support scheduling, meeting coordination, and facility-related needs.

Maintain organized record
‑
keeping systems, documentation, and general office workflows.

Assist with coordinating company events, training, and onsite meetings.

Ensure facility compliance with safety, cleanliness, and administrative standards.
Human Resources Support

Assist in posting open roles, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.

Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including paperwork and orientation scheduling.

Help maintain HR records such as personnel files, attendance logs, compliance documents, and I

9 documentation.

Assist with employee communications and engagement initiatives.

Partner with the Director of HR on day

to
‑
day HR tasks, compliance, and reporting needs.

Creates a supportive, respectful workplace by actively listening to employees, de‑escalating conflicts, and helping guide teams toward constructive resolutions.

Qualifications
Required
-
3+ years of experience in office management, administrative operations, or related role.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.

Proficiency with office software (MS Office, G
‑
Suite, HRIS systems a plus).

Ability to thrive in a fast
‑
paced production or manufacturing environment.
Preferred
-
Prior experience supporting HR functions (recruiting, onboarding, compliance).

Experience in manufacturing, food/beverage, or highly regulated environment.

Familiarity with CA labor laws and HR best practices.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
