Office Manager & Human Resource Assistant

In the role of Office Manager & Human Resource Assistant, you will be the operational backbone of our organization—ensuring that our office environment, administrative processes, and HR support functions run seamlessly day in and day out.

You will play a critical role in maintaining a professional, organized, and highly functional workplace, supporting leadership and staff while upholding company policies, procedures, and standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency, organization, and professionalism
  • Ensure the breakroom is consistently orderly, clean, and fully stocked
  • Manage office supplies inventory, ordering, and vendor coordination
  • Must have reliable transportation and be willing to handle weekly grocery shopping and office-related errands
  • Assist with planning and execution of office events and special occasions
  • Provide administrative support to leadership and internal teams
  • Assist with employee onboarding, offboarding, and HR documentation
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
  • Support HR processes, policies, and compliance efforts
  • Coordinate interviews, scheduling, and internal communications
  • Help ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Follow established systems and processes with precision and consistency
  • Double-check work to ensure accuracy and high-quality output
  • Support internal operations with a proactive, service-oriented mindset
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in office administration, HR support, or similar role
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a structured environment
  • College degree preferred

SCHEDULE & FLEXIBILITY:

This is an on-site role in Oakland, NJ.

This position requires a high degree of flexibility. Candidates must be willing to adjust work hours as needed, including working beyond 40 hours per week when business demands require it, supporting special events, extended hours, and changing priorities.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
