This role combines the administrative responsibilities of an office manager with the proactive skills of a marketing and community outreach specialist, focusing on increasing patient visits by engaging with local businesses, community organizations, and individuals.

Key responsibilities

Office management

  • Oversee daily office operations, including scheduling, patient registration, medical records management, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations like HIPAA and OSHA.
  • Supervise and train office staff, conduct performance reviews, and foster a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Ensure timely ordering and maintenance of office and medical supplies.
  • Handle communication with Different providers, troubleshoot IT issues, and manage the on-call answering service.

Marketing & patient acquisition

  • Develop and implement local marketing strategies to increase patient referrals and foot traffic.
  • Identify target patient demographics and tailor marketing messages and outreach efforts accordingly.
  • Engage with the local community through outreach initiatives like hosting health fairs, sponsoring local events, and participating in charitable activities.
  • Build strong relationships with local businesses ( physicians offices, physical therapy offices, dentist, barbershops, gyms, restaurants, etc.), community centers, and faith-based organizations to establish referral partnerships and increase brand awareness.
  • Create compelling advertising messages and utilize a mix of digital and traditional marketing channels, according to Constant Contact and Patient Care Marketing Pros.
  • Manage online presence through website updates, Google Business Profile optimization, and social media engagement.
  • Encourage positive patient reviews and testimonials, managing online reputation effectively.
  • Implement patient referral programs and nurture relationships with existing patients to drive word-of-mouth marketing.
  • Analyze marketing campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies based on data and feedback.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years of experience in office management, ideally within a medical office setting
  • Medical Billing experience
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing and community outreach strategies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Familiarity with local businesses and community organizations.
  • Understanding of HIPAA and other relevant healthcare regulations.

Preferred qualifications

  • Medical billing and coding experience
  • Experience in local marketing and content creation for healthcare.
  • Experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse community groups

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $3,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
