JOB SUMMARY
DK Architects is a small architecture firm in Pompano Beach with a friendly, casual environment, dedicated to excellent design and services.
We are looking for an Office Manager / Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to generally manage day-to-day office operations and provide clerical/administrative assistance with Architectural Projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
General Office
- Manage day-to-day office operations (phone, mail, supplies, etc.)
- Maintain insurances, licenses, registrations, etc.
- Assist Director
- Assist with Marketing efforts
Bookkeeping (QuickBooks)
- Accounts receivable/payable for office operations
- Accounts receivable/payable for Architectural Projects
- Bank deposits and recording all financial transactions
- Reconciliations
- Weekly Payroll
- Federal and State Taxes (provide documents to accountant)
- Vendor and Expense coding
Architectural Project Assistance
- Proposals assistance (based on templates)
- Billing assistance and payment tracking
- Permitting assistance (DK will provide training)
QUALIFICATIONS
- This position has no ceiling – the more you can do/learn, the better.
- Previous experience working with Architectural or Construction firms is desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- QuickBooks: High proficiency with knowledge of accounting principles and basic bookkeeping is mandatory.
- Software: Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook and OneNote) proficiency is mandatory.
- Data entry proficiency is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree is the minimum education requirement.
- Web Site Maintenance is highly desirable but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
