Office Secretary – Environmental Services (Startup Team)

The Opportunity

We are an emerging startup in the Environmental Services sector. We are looking for a proactive, organized Office Secretary who is ready to help us build our foundation from the ground up. This isn't just a desk job; you will be a key player in managing our daily operations, client communications, and essential financial tasks.

Core Responsibilities

  • Daily Operations: Manage the flow of the office, ensuring all daily activities run smoothly and the workspace is professional.
  • Client & Team Liaison: Act as the primary contact for client emails and provide clear, timely communication between the front office and our backoffice team.
  • Financial Administration: Take ownership of bill management, tracking expenses, and ensuring vendors are paid on time.
  • Data Entry & Records: Use QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records and assist with basic bookkeeping tasks.
  • Flexible Support: Assist with "startup life" tasks—from helping with service contracts to adapting to new administrative needs as the business scales.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Proven experience in an office administrative role.
  • Financial Literacy: Proficiency in QuickBooks is highly preferred. You should be comfortable managing bills and tracking expenses.
  • Adaptability: A "can-do" attitude toward flexible duties. You enjoy a variety of tasks rather than a repetitive routine.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal skills (specifically for professional email correspondence).
  • Local: Must be able to work on-site at our Richmond 6363 location.
