Office/Administrative Assistant – Seasonal, Flexible Hours, Small Business
We are looking for a proactive and dependable Office/Administrative Assistant to manage office operations, client communications, and administrative tasks in a small, professional home office setting located in Salisbury/Westbury. The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates professionally, and demonstrates exceptional accuracy in data entry and documentation. Working closely with business ownership, many office responsibilities are coordinated and shared to support day-to-day operations. The position requires discretion, efficiency, and the ability to interact confidently with executive-level or priority clients while helping ensure daily operations run smoothly.

We are a small business operating from a professional home office that is organized, comfortable, and collaborative. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage assigned tasks independently when needed. Many office responsibilities are shared collaboratively with business ownership to support the day-to-day operations of the office. Reliability and punctuality are extremely important for this role, and we value team members who take pride in being accountable and dependable.
This position is best suited for someone who is proactive, takes initiative, and is comfortable managing responsibilities with minimal supervision. The right candidate will also be confident in providing organized daily updates summarizing activities, client communications, and any follow-up items that require attention.
Our business is seasonal, with periods of fast-paced activity as well as slower times when administrative, organizational, and maintenance work within the office is completed. Work hours can vary based on the flow of business. Some days may require earlier start times, while other days may begin later with a later end time. Specific scheduling expectations will be discussed during the interview process. Depending on business needs, occasional remote work may also be available.
