Office/HR Assistant

The Office Manager (OM) is an essential position in the operation of Wola Nani Management. (WNM). The OM supports the Chief Operations Officer (COO) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with administrative type functions to increase their time and flexibility. A wide degree of creativity is expected from, and latitude given to this position.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join us on our mission as our next Office Manager & Human Resources Assistant. This is a role that requires someone with a track record of getting things done, both quickly AND with attention to detail. We move at lightning speed and need someone who can keep up. Among other things, we are looking for someone with significant experience and proficiency in each of the following areas:

  • At-least 1-2 years experience working in a fast paced office environment with frequent distractions and interruptions
  • A high propensity for getting things done (if you can't tell already, we are impatient people who love checking things off the list and you will need to be too)
  • A high level of follow-through, attention to detail, and self-direction
  • The ability to type at least 30 words-per-minute with accuracy
  • A moderate to advanced skill level using Microsoft 365 and also Microsoft Word and Excel; Powerpoint would be a plus
  • A knack for delivering exceptional customer service (internal and external) in all circumstances
  • The abilitiy to coordinate small projects across broad workstreams
  • Leveraging technology to make our processes and systems more efficient and effective
  • Awesome secretarial skills to create, read, and interpret professional documents, reports, and presentations
  • Use of payroll, timekeeping, and HR systems
  • The ability to participate in scheduling new hire orientations
  • Experience recruiting for challenging positions using Indeed and other job boards, writing engaging job posts that attract quality candidates
  • Kowledge of state and federal HR laws, rules, and regulations

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week

Experience:

  • fast-paced office: 4 years (Preferred)
  • Human resources: 2 years (Required)

Shift availability:

  • Day Shift (Required)
