OFFSHORE BOAT CAPTAIN REQUIRED

Location: Qatar

We are seeking an experienced Offshore Boat Captain to manage and operate vessels supporting offshore and marine operations. The candidate will be responsible for safe navigation, crew supervision, and efficient vessel operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and navigate offshore vessels safely
• Ensure compliance with marine laws and safety regulations
• Supervise and manage onboard crew
• Plan routes considering weather and sea conditions
• Conduct routine vessel inspections and maintenance checks
• Coordinate with offshore teams and project managers
• Maintain logs, reports, and communication records
• Ensure safety of crew, cargo, and equipment

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience as a Boat Captain (offshore preferred)
• Valid captain’s license / maritime certification
• Strong knowledge of navigation systems and marine operations
• Experience in offshore or marine project environments
• Leadership and decision-making skills
• Ability to work in demanding offshore conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in oil & gas / offshore support operations
• Knowledge of international maritime safety standards
• First aid and emergency response certification

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying weather and sea conditions
