Offshore Operation Engineer (Mechanical / Welding)

Key Responsibilities:

• Estimate and procure spare parts for Pipe Facing Machines (PFM) and Internal Line Up Clamps (ILUC)
• Provide offshore operational support
• Develop and implement maintenance programs for PFMs and ILUCs
• Ensure readiness of PFMs and ILUCs for offshore projects
• Provide feedback to the method engineers as required upon procedural review.
• Follow up the barge / vessel progress on a daily basis to ensure the offshore progress is developing as per the agreed time schedule and resolve any technical issues / shortage of material supply ensuring a downtime-free operation.
• Co-ordinate project activities among departments and sub-contractors.
• Provide necessary assistance to senior colleagues.
• Compliance in accordance with Company policies & procedures, Policy of Integrity & Code of Conduct and HSE standards.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is must.
• 5 -7 years’+ experience of relevant experience in offshore construction and support.
• Experience in Pipe Facing Machines (PFM) and Internal Line Up Clamps (ILUC) purchase and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with offshore operations and mechanical equipment
• Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and execution
• Good communication skills.
• Good report writing skills.
