Offshore Sampling & Onsite Analysis Chemist

Are you passionate about analytical chemistry and looking for an exciting opportunity in the offshore oil & gas industry? We are seeking a motivated professional to join our team as an Offshore Sampling & Onsite Analysis Chemist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offshore and onsite sampling of water, gas, and process streams
• Water quality analysis and QAQC of results
• Gas compositional analysis using MicroGC systems
• Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and operational procedures
• Preparation of technical reports and communication of findings to clients and stakeholders
• Equipment calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related scientific discipline
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in laboratory, onsite, or offshore analytical services
• Hands-on experience with water analysis techniques
• Experience in gas compositional analysis using MicroGC is essential
• Strong understanding of analytical methods, QA/QC, and HSE requirements
• Ability to work in offshore environments and travel as required
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

• Previous experience in the oil & gas, environmental, or industrial services sector
• Offshore certification(s) and safety training are an advantage
