Offshore Structure Engineer

At Eni , we are looking for an Offshore Structure Engineer within EniProgetti Egypt Ltd. in Cairo .

Main responsibilities:

  • Carry out assigned tasks and produce deliverables competently and effectively, within agreed time and budget constraints, ensuring that all project objectives are met
  • Comply with all relevant HSE requirements for the assigned project(s)
  • Collaborate and coordinate with engineers and technical personnel within the discipline and across other disciplines during project execution
  • Perform work in accordance with applicable project requirements, codes and standards
  • Apply proven company work methods and standardised deliverables and tools to maximise design efficiency and minimise the risk of errors
    Work in accordance with the Quality Management System
  • Ensure full compliance with national HSE legislation and company HSE policies, promoting a safe and healthy workplace

Skills and experience required:

  • University degree (BSc) in Structural Engineering
  • Relevant experience in structural design for oil and gas projects
  • Assist with the preparation of cost, schedule and resource estimates for nominated projects, scope changes or proposals, and support project scheduling activities
  • Prepare offshore structural deliverables
  • Ability to work with offshore structural software such as SESAM, USFOS, AutoCAD and SAP2000
  • Interface with Quality Assurance on quality issues, ensuring strict compliance with company ISO quality procedures, and coordinate internal and client audit requests, including facilitating engineering system audits within the department
