Job Description

The Security and Safety Supervisor manages safety and security programs and related activities, ensuring compliance with government policies, directives and procedures; In addition to developing and directing an organizational security and safety strategy; Oversees the implementation of efforts to reduce loss; Enhances security and reduces risk; Serves as the principal safety and internal security advisor to the organization; Train employees to follow, supervise and coordinate security and safety instructions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible about the framework necessary to ensure safety and security operations, policies and procedures; Overseeing the rectification of all matters in the interest of safety, security and risk reduction.

Assess program risks and assist in developing appropriate strategy.Lead investigations, audits and security inspections.

Determine the safety requirements of the client.

Recommend new policies, procedures, programs and services for continuous improvement.

coordination with site management and supervisors while ensuring compliance with security and safety rules Provide direction to management and staff; Contribute to the strategic planning process.

Facilitate training programs for employees in relation to public safety and other regulatory requirements; Review and improve exercises as necessary.

Carry out all permits related to the contract.

implementation of the safety policy set by the facility or establishment.

qualifications & Experience:

technical with 5 years experience in drilling operations , Bachelor’s Degree Mining/ Geology is a plus.

Strong knowledge with iso certificates 14000 , 45000, Osha, first aid

Strong knowledge of HSE practices in drilling operations.

Fluency in English language.
