Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

• Minimum 4 years’ hands-on experience working on lift boats.
• Strong understanding of marine engine and machinery maintenance.
• Ability to monitor oil levels, fluid systems, and mechanical components.
• Knowledge of safety protocols specific to lift boat operations.
• Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces and at heights.
• Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts offshore.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Tasks:

• Perform routine inspections of engines, pumps, and hydraulic systems.
• Monitor, top-up, and change oil, lubricants, and other fluids.
• Assist engineers in troubleshooting mechanical or hydraulic issues.
• Maintain logs of maintenance and fuel/oil consumption.
• Support deck crew with machinery operation when needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards during all maintenance activities.
• Report equipment anomalies promptly to engineering supervisor.
