We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Okta Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of identity and access management solutions within our cybersecurity infrastructure. Responsibilities

  • Design and architect scalable, secure identity and access management solutions utilizing Okta platform integrations aligned with enterprise security policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and lifecycle management processes across cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Develop comprehensive system security plans, ensuring compliance with NIST standards, ISO 27000 series, FedRAMP, and other relevant cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Integrate Okta with existing network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPNs, firewalls, Cisco ISE, and other network security tools such as IDS/IPS systems.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analysis related to identity systems; implement incident response procedures for authentication-related incidents.
  • Maintain documentation of system architecture, security protocols, and operational procedures; oversee incident recovery and disaster recovery planning.
  • Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, encryption techniques like PKI, and advancements in cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform to enhance system security.

Skills

  • Extensive experience with Okta identity management solutions including SSO, MFA, lifecycle management, and API integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts such as LAN/WAN routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), IPsec VPNs, DHCP/DNS services, and network protocols (TCP/IP).
  • Proficiency in implementing network security measures using firewalls (Cisco ASA), intrusion detection systems (IDS), SIEM tools like Splunk or New Relic for monitoring and analysis.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity standards including NIST standards, ISO 27002/27000 series, PCI DSS compliance requirements, and FIPS encryption standards.
  • Hands-on experience with system administration across multiple operating systems including Windows Server, Linux distributions (CentOS, Debian), macOS, and openSUSE.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure services such as AWS or Azure; experience with virtualization platforms like VMware vSphere or Citrix.
  • Ability to perform vulnerability assessments using attack frameworks; develop secure network architectures supporting high availability and disaster recovery strategies.
