Meticulously designed sanctuaries are conceived with barefoot luxury, local connections and slow living at heart.

OKU Hotels is headquartered in London, with current properties operating in Ibiza and Kos, and a confirmed pipeline of hotels set to open in Turkey and. OKU is targeting to own and/or operate a collection of over ten exquisite properties in new and captivating destinations worldwide, over the next five years.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

  • Plan and oversee the daily operations of reception, guest experience, night auditing, and telephone services.
  • Ensure efficient and seamless guest check-in and check-out processes.
  • Optimize hotel occupancy rates and manage room sales.
  • Provide excellent service by addressing guest needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Recruit, train, motivate, and manage front office staff.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
  • Prepare daily operational reports and present them to senior management.
  • Manage the front office budget and optimize costs.
  • Develop revenue management and booking strategies.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Passionate about hospitality and enthusiastic about Laidback Luxury, with a desire to represent the OKU philosophy in your professional environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking and excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in the related position ideally in luxury or lifestyle hotels.
  • Native in Turkish language is a must.
  • Fluency in English is required. Other languages are a plus.
  • Previous Pre-Opening experience is a plus.

TECHNICAL AND BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES

  • Proven leadership skills in a hotel/resort environment and empathy, exceptional communication, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Continuously seek to improve/develop the performance of others and continuously strive to improve his/her own performance.
  • Business Savvy, problem-solving, and attention to detail. Require knowledge of and the ability to operate computer equipment and software applications.
  • Proficiency in reservation systems (PMS, Opera, etc.) and other hotel software.
