Duties

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Implement curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards to support preschool and toddler learning milestones.
• Ensure the safety of all children by maintaining vigilant supervision and adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures.
• Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation, respect, and independence among children.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns that arise during care.
• Assist with classroom organization, including preparing materials, maintaining cleanliness, and managing supplies for daycare activities.

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices is essential.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is NOT required; additional training in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning environment.
• Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including diapering, feeding, and developmental activities.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage positively with children and families.
