O&M infrastructure Engineer

• Align facility infrastructure monitoring with service continuity and availability targets.
• Coordinate with operation and engineering teams to enhance reliability of data center environments.
• Contribute to proactive strategies for fault prevention and risk reduction.
• Monitor temperature, humidity, and airflow to maintain optimal environmental conditions.
• Oversee power distribution systems, including UPS, PDUs, generators, and electrical circuits.
• Ensure fire detection and suppression systems are operational and compliant with safety standards.
• Maintain and monitor physical security systems: access control, surveillance, and intrusion detection.
• Supervise and schedule maintenance for HVAC, cooling, and electrical systems.
• Respond to infrastructure alerts and incidents promptly and escalate where necessary.
• Coordinate emergency responses and minimize downtime through rapid fault isolation.
• Schedule and document facility inspections, maintenance routines, and audits.
• Analyze incident trends and recommend infrastructure or procedural improvements.
• Update system configuration records and infrastructure documentation.
• Follow and enforce data center safety and compliance policies.

Hands-on experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and/or Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools.
Strong understanding of critical power distribution (UPS, PDU) and HVAC systems.
Knowledge of fire suppression, leak detection, and physical security systems (CCTV, Access Control).
Competency in using ITSM ticketing platforms (e.g., BMC Remedy, ServiceNow).
Ability to monitor, maintain, and optimize facility infrastructure for reliability and safety.
