On-Call Banquet Bartender

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards
• Set up bar stations with necessary supplies, garnishes, and glassware prior to events
• Ensure all drinks are served responsibly, adhering to food safety and alcohol service regulations
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS with accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area throughout the event, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
• Engage with guests professionally, providing excellent customer service and fostering a welcoming environment
• Restock supplies as needed during events and assist with breakdown and cleanup afterward

Experience

• Previous bartending experience in banquet settings or fine dining environments preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy events
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly at nightclubs or large events is a plus
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in the food service industry
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and drink measurements accurately
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest experiences
• RBS Certification upon hire
