Job Description

The Marriott Savannah Riverfront is seeking a reliable and professional On-call Banquet Server to join our team in Savannah, GA. As an On-call Banquet Server, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service during special events, banquets, and private functions. This position requires flexibility and availability to work on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications and layouts.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously to guests during events.
• Assist with clearing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the event.
• Work collaboratively with the banquet team to ensure smooth event operations.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Respond promptly to on-call requests and be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a banquet server or in a similar hospitality role preferred.
• Ability to work on-call and maintain flexible availability.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or equipment as needed.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Must be able to work well in a team environment.
