*This is an ON-CALL Position that could work from 0-5 days weekly (on an as-needed basis).
A healthcare (ALF, SNF, RCFE, etc.) Business Office Admin combines both accounting and administrative management practices. You will manage accounts and files, market materials to appropriate parties, and may occasionally interact with healthcare facility residents and management teams that our office collaborates with.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversight of financial operations, such as payroll, benefits administration, and accounts payable and receivable.
- Oversight of secretarial and accounting personnel.
- Dealing with all insurance payments, including private, Medicare, and Medicaid.
- Handling refunds for accounts receivable, maintaining Medicaid logs, and helping process Medicaid applications.
- Maintaining personnel and resident files, serving as a liaison with families and community agencies, and reconciling cash accounts each month.
- Stay current on policies regarding benefits administration and resident trust accounting.
- Oversight of personnel, you could be tasked with screening applicants, training new hires, and monitoring performance, including giving merit increases and handling disciplinary issues.
- Attending of a 2-hr Zoom Meeting, 2x a month

- Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, technical abilities, and interpersonal skills
- 3-5 years accounting experience
- 3-5 years business office experience
Required Skills
- Excellent organizational skills are essential in order to successfully run the business office of a health care facility.
- Manage all the details and deadlines. Along with organizational skills, you will need an ability to prioritize.
- Manage projects with competing deadlines and must be able to balance tasks.
- Supervise office staff and assist residents and their families, interpersonal skills are important.
- Technical abilities to work with word processing and spreadsheet programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
- Professional interaction and stellar Communication must be exhibited (i.e. with all vendors/contractors, company conglomerates, and facilities.)
Some local traveling outside of the Chamblee office is occasionally required (i.e. throughout Atlanta area, etc). Non-local traveling (state to state) is rare and occasional, with your lodging & traveling expenses paid for by the company.
Monthly pay by Invoice.
