On-Call IT Field Technician (1099 Contractor)

About the Role

Ace Tech Systems is a Miami-based Managed IT and Cybersecurity firm serving law firms, financial advisors, and professional services companies throughout South Florida. We're looking for a reliable, professional on-call field technician to support client sites as needed — no guaranteed hours, no set schedule. You work when we have work.

What You'll Be Doing

• On-site hardware troubleshooting and repair
• Device setup, imaging, and configuration
• Network connectivity troubleshooting (routers, switches, Wi-Fi)
• Printer and peripheral support
• Microsoft 365 support (basic user issues, password resets, email)
• Cable runs and basic structured cabling support
• Professional client-facing communication throughout every visit

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of hands-on IT support experience
• Comfortable working independently at client sites
• Professional appearance and communication — our clients are law firms and financial offices
• Reliable transportation (Miami-Dade/Broward coverage required)
• CompTIA A+ or Network+ preferred, not required
• 1099 contractor — you are responsible for your own taxes

How It Works

We contact you when a job comes in. You confirm availability. You go. You get paid weekly via Zelle or Venmo upon invoice submission.

Growth Potential
