ON-CALL Medical Courier - Independent Contractor

This flexible, on-demand position allows you to work as needed while supporting hospitals, labs, and healthcare facilities. Ideal for dependable, high-energy individuals who can handle time-sensitive deliveries with professionalism.

Duties

• Safely pick up and deliver blood, lab specimens, and medical supplies
• Follow strict chain-of-custody and handling protocols
• Execute routes efficiently to meet time-sensitive delivery windows
• Communicate professionally with healthcare staff and dispatch
• Load, unload, and secure medical shipments properly
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
• Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures

Requirements

• Reliable vehicle (SUV or cargo van preferred)
• Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
• Smartphone with GPS/navigation
• Must be available for on-call dispatch (including nights/early mornings)
• Strong reliability and time management
• Ensure effective communication with dispatch

Preferred Experience

• Courier, delivery driver, or medical transport experience
• Familiarity with time-sensitive deliveries

$80 cents per mile

20$ flat rate under 20 miles delivery radius

(based on mileage and availability)

Gas is not reimbursed until to reach a weekly mileage.

This is an independent contractor position (1099) and is not hourly employment!
