On-Call Nurse

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Weekend On-Call Nurse to provide exceptional patient care for a Home Plus setting. We offer a set rate for each day of being on call and an additional hourly rate if you are called in.

Duties

• Respond promptly to calls from CMAs for patient assessments, triage, and urgent care.
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and vital sign assessments to evaluate patient conditions accurately.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions thoroughly and accurately.
• Support infection control practices and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Valid nursing license (RN or LPN) in the state of Kansas with current certification.
• Excellent assessment skills with the ability to handle acute pain management and emergency situations confidently.
• Ability to work independently during on-call shifts while maintaining high standards of patient safety and care quality.
