On-site Assistant

Overview

Job Details:

Supervise and manage daily mine site operations to ensure safe, stable, and efficient production activities.

Act as the main communication link between on-site teams and senior management to ensure clear coordination.

Provide daily updates to the Director of Operations and Managing Director regarding production results, progress, and operational issues.

Plan work schedules and staff rotations in coordination with leadership to maintain smooth workflow and productivity.

Manage workforce related matters including hiring support, performance monitoring, and resolving employee concerns when required.

Maintain accurate records such as production data, daily reports, and operational logs for reporting purposes.

Ensure all site activities follow safety standards, company policies, and operational procedures.

Identify operational gaps and support improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and productivity.

Coordinate between different teams to ensure smooth and consistent site operations.

Support compliance with safety regulations and ensure proper implementation of site rules.

Job Experience Requirements

Proven experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in mining, industrial, or offshore environments.

Educational background in mining, civil engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience working with production data and performance tracking in fast paced environments.

Strong knowledge of team management, safety standards, and operational control.

Ability to work independently, take responsibility, and lead teams effectively.

Good communication and decision making skills.
