On-Site Ecommerce Retoucher - Freelance

Hyperblack Studios is a leading full-service ecommerce photo studio, working with brands in the fashion, apparel, and beauty industries. We produce thousands of brand-centric digital assets for our clients.

We are looking for an on-site Ecommerce Retoucher in our LA studio to work directly with the Post Production Manager to retouch, color correct, and QA product images. This is a temporary position on-site Monday - Friday at our LA studio, starting April 6th - April 17th with a possibility to extend. The Ecommerce Retoucher will bring a detailed eye, collaborative spirit, and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment. For this temporary position, the retoucher will be expected to bring their own computer with the latest version of Photoshop installed.

Responsibilities:

• Retouch product images according to client specifications.
• Use client feedback and markups to make adjustments to assets.
• Manipulate shape, alter fabrications,, composite, and color correct to create consistent, accurate representations of the product.
• Organize and rename assets according to workflow.
• Upload assets to cloud based software, servers, and hard drives
• Work in multiple platforms to organize and gather data–PM software, DAM software, Google Drive, etc.
• Meet deadlines on assigned projects.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Photoshop and Bridge
• Knowledgeable in studio photography
• Degree in photography or equivalent work experience
• Ability to work independently to solve problems
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to function calmly in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Friendly, positive demeanor
• Committed to maintaining a high level of communication
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to bring own laptop with Photoshop installed and work on-site at our downtown LA location.

Job Types: Freelance, Temporary

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
