Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Fitter to join our construction and fabrication team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various trades, including roofing, welding. Duties
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans to execute fitting tasks accurately.
- Install, assemble, and repair structural components using appropriate hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct welding, roofing, as required for various projects.
- Fabricate components on-site or in workshops to specifications provided by project managers or engineers.
- Assist with construction painting and finishing tasks to ensure project completion meets quality standards.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely project delivery.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order; report any faults or damages promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction-related trades such as roofing, welding is desirable.
- Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings is essential but not necessary
- Competence in the use of hand tools and power tools required for fitting tasks.
- Knowledge of fabrication techniques and ability to interpret technical plans.
- Previous experience working on construction sites or in workshop environments preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and safety compliance.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction trades are advantageous but not mandatory. Pay: £500.00-£650.00 per week
