Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day property operations, including leasing, rent collection, and maintenance coordination
- Provide outstanding customer service to residents, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Oversee property leasing activities, including showing units, processing applications, and executing lease agreements
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 guidelines, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) requirements, and other legal standards
- Utilize property management software such as Yardi and OneSite for data entry, reporting, and record keeping
- Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management tasks to uphold safety and quality standards
- Handle legal administrative responsibilities related to landlord-tenant law, contracts, and conflict management
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a focus on residential properties
- Strong knowledge of LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing policies, Fair Housing regulations, and landlord-tenant law
- Proficiency with Yardi, OneSite or similar property management software (CMMS experience preferred)
- Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to negotiate lease terms and upsell additional services or amenities effectively
- Office experience involving data entry, filing, contracts management, and administrative support
- Familiarity with property maintenance procedures and facilities management practices
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
