On-Site Property Manager / Community Manager

Join our dynamic team as an On-Site Property Manager / Community Manager, where you will be the heartbeat of our residential community! This vibrant role combines hands-on property management with exceptional customer service, ensuring our residents experience a welcoming, well-maintained environment. You will oversee daily operations, lease administration, and maintenance coordination while fostering positive relationships with residents, vendors, and team members. Your energy and proactive approach will drive community satisfaction and operational excellence in a fast-paced, rewarding setting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, renewals, and resident relations to maximize occupancy and retention.
  • Oversee property maintenance and facilities management, coordinating repairs and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Administer leasing processes using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite; conduct property tours and upsell available units to prospective residents.
  • Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 guidelines, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) requirements, and landlord-tenant laws.
  • Handle legal administrative tasks including lease agreements, contracts, and legal notices with precision and confidentiality.
  • Conduct regular property inspections, maintain detailed records through data entry and filing systems like CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • Resolve conflicts effectively through negotiation and conflict management skills while maintaining excellent phone etiquette and customer service standards.
  • Collaborate with vendors for property maintenance needs; oversee work orders and ensure timely completion of repairs.
  • Maintain accurate financial records related to rent collections, deposits, and billing; utilize CRM tools for customer relationship management.

Experience

  • Experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a strong understanding of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations.
  • Familiarity with property management software
  • Experience working with LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing vouchers, or other affordable housing initiatives is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle legal administrative tasks related to leases, contracts, and compliance documentation.
  • Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—alongside professional phone etiquette.
  • Prior experience in facilities management or property maintenance coordination is advantageous.

manager will work onsite in the community 85% of the time and other 15% of the time inthe company main office

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
