On-Site Senior Clinical Manager

The Mobile Therapy Centers story starts over 20 years ago when a loving parent had an all-too-common dilemma. How to get much needed speech therapy for his child during a time of day that didn’t interfere with his work responsibilities or disrupt his son’s school schedule. From there, Mobile Therapy Centers of America, LLC or better known as Mobile Therapy Centers was born. A private practice with a progressive service delivery model, where the therapists come to the client as a provider of ABA Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Behavioral Therapy and Counseling services for children, adults, and families. Over the last 16 years, Mobile Therapy Centers has evolved from a single therapist offering a single service to employing over 65+ health professionals, who provide a multitude of high-quality customized therapeutic services throughout Illinois, Wisconsin, and Tennessee.

Mobile Therapy Centers (MTC) is looking for a Senior Clinical Manager (BCBA)to join its growing team! The Senior Clinical Manager, BCBA, is responsible for all clinical aspects of treatment for the patients they oversee. This includes the assessment and analysis of the patient’s skills and challenging behaviors, development of treatment plans, overseeing the implementation of treatment, collaboration with and training of their patient’s caregivers, as well as ongoing coaching and training of behavioral technicians. Promoting discipline specific awareness and collaboration within client teams and global clinic environment.

BCBA Responsibilities and Duties

  • Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provided onsite in real-time clinical support to the location when present and ensured to bring any concerns to Leadership.
  • Develop and maintain treatment plans
  • Evaluate patients to identify both skill deficits and strengths
  • Analyze challenging behaviors to identify the function of the behavior
  • Develop functionally relevant treatment plans to reduce challenging behaviors
  • Observe treatment implementation for potential program revisions. Coordination of care with other professionals.
  • Maintain a caseload of transitioning caseloads/supervision students and 20 billable hours per week (due to business needs, caseloads might be higher in certain circumstances)
  • Monitor treatment integrity to ensure satisfactory implementation of treatment protocols.
  • Direct behavior technicians in the implementation of new or revised treatment protocols
  • Provides ongoing coaching and training to behavioral technicians.
  • Summarize and analyze data to evaluate patient progress towards treatment goals and adjust treatment protocols based upon data.
  • Update treatment plans at least once per month, based upon patient response to treatment.
  • Accurately communicate treatment responses to treatment stakeholders (i.e., caregivers, payers)
  • Administration, completion, and scoring of standardized assessments
  • Includes caregivers as a part of the treatment team, as evidenced by consistent Caregiver Collaboration meetings.
  • Supervise RBT’s and Supervision Students under the BACB.
  • Stay up to date on best practices for ABA treatment to ensure clinical excellence
  • Maintains appropriate documentation in Skills and the patient’s medical record.
  • Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Always maintain compliance with HIPAA requirements.
  • Traveling to schools and in homes.
  • Other duties as assigned by Leadership.

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) required
  • Empathetic and compassionate individual with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members while maintaining a positive and solution focused attitude.
  • Ability to work independently to problem solve and exercise clinical judgment
  • An effective communicator in both verbal and written formats
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Outlook; ability to use new computer systems and iPads.
  • Desire to continuously learn and develop skillsets
  • Willingness to work in a variety of locations (school, center, patient home, etc.)
  • Willingness to work with a variety of patients
  • Reliable means of transportation with proof of auto insurance.

Position Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in psychology, education, or related field is preferred
  • Must be a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst
  • Personal vehicle to travel to and from client visits

Pay: $85,000.00 - $88,000.00 per year
