Job Overview

Atlas Tutoring Services LLC is seeking a reliable and motivated One-on-One Academic Tutor to join our growing team. This position focuses on morning availability, providing personalized instruction to students of various ages and academic levels. There are other options for different shifts.

As a tutor, you will help students build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and reach their full potential through engaging, one-on-one support. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a direct impact while working in a flexible and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one tutoring in subjects such as math, reading, science, and more
• Create customized lesson plans based on each student’s needs and goals
• Adapt teaching methods to fit different learning styles
• Monitor and track student progress
• Maintain clear communication with parents/guardians
• Keep accurate records of sessions and progress reports
• Foster a positive, encouraging, and structured learning environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (required)
• Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (required)
• Must pass a background check (Checkr or equivalent)
• Experience in tutoring, teaching, or working with students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• Dependable and professional
• Reliable transportation for in-person sessions

Qualifications

• Background in STEM, early childhood, or special education
• Experience working with diverse learning needs
• Familiarity with virtual tutoring platforms

Work Location

• In-person (Peoria, Surprise, Phoenix area)
• Some virtual sessions available
