Do you remember the Magic School bus? That’s what we strive to make our home feel like.

We’re a fun loving, silly, shenanigans filled family looking for some friends to help make sure our kiddo makes some amazing memories. We love playing outside, arts and crafts, and science projects!

We're looking for a few "friends" to help so even if you can only do one or two days please reach out!

AUGUST-MAY (School Year)

School breaks will be one day a week (usually Fridays) 8:00 am-6:00 pm

JUNE-JULY (Summer)

Friday 8:00 am-6:00 pm

WEEKENDS-PICK YOUR HOURS!

Saturdays & Sundays up to 10 hours a day

**Scheduled hours can be up to 40 but will usually be part time (under 30)**

There’s also the option to pick up extra shifts as they become available.

Our girl is very independent but needs someone to keep an eye on her and give her guidance when necessary.

Tasks would include helping her with ADLs (dressing, eating/managing her feeding tube, brushing her teeth, showering/bathing, etc.), playing and therapy activities, but most of all HAVING FUN!

Responsibilities

  • Transportation to and from community events.
  • Supervise and engage with child in a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
  • Provide care for 5-year-old girl including feeding, diapering, and maintaining hygiene.
  • Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
  • Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom or play area.
  • Collaborate with family to ensure a cohesive approach to child care.
  • Stay informed about child development practices and participate in ongoing training as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in childcare settings such as preschool, nannying, or daycare is preferred.
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages.
  • Skills in behavior management techniques to effectively handle various situations.
  • Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A genuine love for children and a commitment to their safety and well-being.
  • Pre-employment CPR certification, background check, and training modules provided at no cost.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
