This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who loves early childhood education and is ready to make a big impact on the development of toddlers during one of their most important developmental stages!
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement daily lesson plans tailored to the developmental milestones of 1-year-olds.
- Promote sensory, fine motor, and language development through hands-on activities such as art, music, and guided play.
- Establish and maintain a warm, welcoming, and safe classroom environment.
- Foster social and emotional growth by supporting positive interactions between children and encouraging early communication skills.
- Communicate regularly with parents to update them on their child's progress and any important milestones.
- Monitor and assess each child's development, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
- Ensure classroom cleanliness and organization in accordance with safety and health standards.
- Provide positive reinforcement and model behaviors to help children build self-confidence and independence.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably in preschool or daycare environments.
- Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching methodologies.
- Familiarity with childhood development theories and practices, including Montessori principles.
- Experience in behavior management techniques tailored for young learners.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Background in tutoring or teaching subjects such as literacy education or math is highly desirable.
