OneStream Administrator

Ontrac Solutions is supporting a client in the telco/fintech space in the search for a OneStream Administrator with strong finance experience and working knowledge of OneStream's technical components. This role will help run and maintain the financial consolidation and reporting environment, support month-end close, and manage key OneStream configurations to keep processes accurate, reliable, and audit-ready. While this is not a full developer role, the administrator must be comfortable reviewing and making light updates to VB.NET scripts as needed to troubleshoot, refine business rules, and support evolving reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Administration
    • Manage and support the OneStream application, including user access, security, FX rates and performance monitoring.
    • Maintain and enhance cube views, dashboards, and transformation rules to meet reporting requirements.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in collaboration with Group Finance
  • Technical Support
    • Review and amend VB.NET scripts within OneStream for automation and reporting adjustments.
    • Assist in implementing system enhancements and integrations with ERP or other financial systems.
  • Finance & Month-End Support
    • Partner with Finance teams to support month-end close, consolidation, and reporting cycles.
    • Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial data flows, reconciliations, and eliminations.
    • Provide guidance and training to finance users on OneStream functionality.
  • Governance & Continuous Improvement
    • Document processes, rules, and configurations for audit and governance purposes.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve reporting efficiency.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to align OneStream capabilities with evolving business needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience as a Financial Systems Administrator or Analyst.
  • Ability to read and amend VB.NET scripts (not full development).
  • Hands-on experience with transformation rules, cube views, and financial consolidation processes.
  • Strong understanding of month-end close cycles, accounting principles and financial reporting, as well as FP&A processes (Actuals, Forecast and Budget).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Sufficient English proficiency to operate in an English-speaking workplace.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with ERP integration (SAP or similar.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Knowledge of data warehouse tools.
  • Knowledge of IFRS.
  • Familiarity with governance, audit, and compliance requirements in financial systems.
  • Experience within the telecommunications industry.
