O.V. Yonder Outfitters a Graham-based small business is seeking a part-time Social Media and Marketing specialist to assist with handling all social media marketing.

The Social Media and Marketing Specialist will work closely with both the Owners and Managers to complete the essential duties as well as come up with original ideas and content. The important thing is to be positive and creative!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the businesses’ social media posts & checking our social channels
• Curate relevant content to reach the businesses’ ideal customers
• Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, and written)
• For example, Facebook and Instagram posts, create TikTok's, YouTube videos, blogging, etc. * Oversee various design aspects, such as Facebook cover photos, profile pictures, and website landing pages
• Manage minimal website updates
• Take great photos for business marketing materials
• For example, to use for social media platforms, website updates, ads * Monitor and respond professionally and courteously to reviews on Facebook, TripAdvisor, Yelp, and Google
• Assist with company and community events
• Work directly with the owner to brainstorm and implement various promotions and campaigns both online and in the local community

SKILLS

• Effectively communicate with a diverse group of personalities
• Organize multiple tasks at once while working quickly and efficiently
• Communicate clearly both in person and over the phone
• Communicate clearly and professionally online
• Willing to learn and take direction but also able to take initiative
• Attention to detail
• Have an “eye for design”
• Photography skills a plus
• Knowledge of various social channels, such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of Google applications (Gmail, Google Docs, Google my Business)
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud products a plus, such as Photoshop and Illustrator
• Basic SEO knowledge a plus
