The Online Marketing Strategist at Watermark Retirement Communities is a key contributor to our online presence and marketing success. This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of digital marketing initiatives, including websites, local and technical SEO, digital advertising, PPC, and paid social campaigns. Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing, the specialist will serve as the primary liaison with third- party agencies and work closely with the corporate and field marketing teams to drive qualified traffic and leads to our communities.

Responsibilities:

  • Performance Analysis: Monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis, using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Salesforce) to track key metrics, generate reports, and present findings.
  • Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with the Director of Digital Marketing to strategize, plan, and implement digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including SEO, PPC, paid social, and display advertising.
  • Third-Party Management: Manage relationships with external digital agencies, providing clear direction, feedback, and performance oversight to ensure campaign goals are met.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in a digital marketing role with a focus on SEO, PPC, and digital advertising. Some background in websites development and content management systems is helpful.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing digital advertising campaigns with a clear understanding of campaign setup, optimization, and reporting.
