Online Mathematics and Physics Tutor - Ontario Candidates Only

Gifted Academy Tutors is hiring an Online Mathematics and Physics Tutor for one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions.

We are looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and student-friendly tutor who can confidently teach both Mathematics and Physics and provide strong academic support in an online learning environment.

Position Type

• Part-time / Contract
• Remote / Online only

What you will do

• Teach one-on-one online lessons in Mathematics and Physics
• Explain concepts clearly and adapt lessons to student needs
• Support high school and university students academically
• Save lesson notes after each session for upload and recordkeeping
• Maintain professional communication and punctuality
• Help students build confidence and understanding through structured lessons

Requirements

• Must be able to teach both Mathematics and PhysicsMinimum of 5 years of tutoring or teaching experience
• Must be willing to complete a Police Background Check, or provide a recent Police Background Check completed within the last 3 months
• Must have a suitable device for online tutoring, such as an iPad with pen/stylus or another setup that allows clear writing and saving lesson notes
• Must be comfortable working in a fully online environment
• Strong communication, professionalism, and lesson organization are required

Pay Rate

Compensation will depend on teaching level, experience, qualifications, and fit.

Expected pay ranges:

High School Tutoring: up to $25/hour

University Tutoring: up to $30/hour

Only candidates who are strong in both subjects and comfortable with online lesson delivery should apply.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
