Online Sales Incharge for Retail Supermarket

Job Title: Online Sales Incharge

Reports To: Store Manager

Job Summary

The Online Sales Incharge will be responsible for managing and supervising the operations of the online sales section. This role requires strong coordination with the warehouse and delivery teams, maintaining accurate inventory records, processing online orders, preparing sales reports, and ensuring smooth customer service.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and its functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF, IF statements, etc.) and the ability to learn quickly are essential for managing data, analyzing sales performance, and supporting decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Online Sales Operations

  • Oversee daily operations of the online sales section to ensure smooth order processing and timely deliveries.
  • Manage online product listings, pricing, and stock updates.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure sufficient stock availability for online orders.

Excel & Data Management

  • Use Excel for sales analysis, inventory tracking, and order management.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate reports on daily, weekly, and monthly online sales.
  • Analyze customer order trends and generate performance insights.

Inventory & Order Control

  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment.
  • Maintain accurate records to minimize stock discrepancies.
  • Track pending, completed, and returned orders using system reports and Excel sheets.

Customer Service & Sales Growth

  • Ensure high-quality customer service for online buyers, resolving queries and complaints effectively.
  • Work towards achieving online sales targets and contributing to the store’s overall growth.
  • Suggest promotions or offers based on sales data analysis.

Team Supervision & Coordination

  • Supervise and guide the online sales staff to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Assign daily responsibilities and monitor compliance with service standards.

Reporting & Communication

  • Prepare and submit online sales performance reports to the Store Manager.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding challenges, customer feedback, and team performance.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in business, IT, or retail management are an advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in sales/retail, with experience in online sales preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, charts, data analysis).
  • Familiarity with online order management systems is a plus.
  • Language: Arabic speaking is not mandatory but considered a plus.
