Job Description

This part-time role is part of Prep Expert’s Tutoring Operations team. The Test Prep Tutor will:

• tutor SAT, ACT, LSAT, MCAT, PSAT, GRE, ISEE, and other standardized tests;
• tutor high school subjects within the tutor's area of expertise;
• schedule appointments with students and maintain an updated bio/headshot;

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will:

• have a documented 99th-percentile score on the SAT, ACT, or other standardized test;
• have any other documented competitive scores on any test prep subjects;
• have an engaging, effective teaching presence and technique;
• have prior experience tutoring students in test prep subjects;
• have a Bachelor’s degree or higher or is currently a student at a competitive university;
• be comfortable working in a tech-heavy, fast-paced startup environment;
• be accountable, honest, and professional;
• have a demonstrated history of drive and integrity

Our ideal candidate will be ready to step in and take on tutoring assignments immediately. Attention to detail, analytical thinking, initiative and drive are key qualities we seek.

Time Commitment

2-20+ hours a week

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
