Role Overview

We are seeking passionate and experienced SAT Tutors (ELA and/or Math) to join our team. The ideal candidate will help students strengthen concepts, improve test-taking strategies, and achieve high SAT scores through engaging and structured online sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 SAT tutoring sessions (ELA and/or Math)
• Develop customized lesson plans based on student needs and diagnostic results
• Teach core concepts including:
• ELA: Reading comprehension, grammar, writing, and essay strategies
• Math: Algebra, problem-solving, data analysis, and advanced math concepts
• Provide test-taking strategies, time management tips, and practice guidance
• Track student progress and share regular feedback with parents/students
• Assign and review homework, practice tests, and mock exams
• Maintain a supportive and motivating learning environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (Education, Math, English, or related field preferred)
• Proven experience in SAT tutoring or standardized test preparation
• Strong subject expertise in ELA and/or Math
• Familiarity with the latest SAT format and scoring
• Excellent communication and online teaching skills
• Comfortable using digital tools (Zoom, Google Docs, online whiteboards)

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience teaching U.S.-based students
• Ability to engage and motivate middle/high school students
• Strong track record of improving student test scores

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
