Online STEM Teacher

iFun Education is seeking passionate and engaging Online STEM Science Teachers to deliver interactive science lessons to K–12 students in a live virtual classroom setting. The role focuses on developing students’ scientific thinking, inquiry skills, and problem-solving abilities through discussion-based and concept-driven instruction.

Teachers will guide students through scientific exploration across a range of STEM disciplines, including General Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Life Science, Physical Science, Earth and Environmental Science, Space Science, and interdisciplinary STEM and engineering concepts, while encouraging active participation and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver live online STEM science classes to small groups or individual students
• Facilitate discussion-based and inquiry-driven learning experiences
• Guide students in scientific reasoning, observation, and analytical thinking
• Encourage active student participation and engagement
• Adapt instruction based on students’ learning levels and progress
• Provide brief feedback on student performance when required
• Maintain a positive and engaging online classroom environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science, STEM-related fields, Education, or a related discipline
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience with K–12 students preferred
• Experience delivering live online instruction in a virtual classroom environment
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms such as ClassIn, Zoom, or similar systems
• Strong communication and classroom management skills in an online setting
• Ability to explain scientific concepts clearly through interactive and discussion-based instruction
• Comfortable engaging students and maintaining participation in small-group or one-on-one online classes
• Passion for developing students’ curiosity, scientific thinking, and problem-solving skills

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
