Onsite IT Support Technician
We are seeking an onsite IT Support Technician to join our team! You will resolve IT-related issues for our clients onsite, over-the-phone, and sometimes remotely. We are looking for an individual with excellent customer service skills and that can convey the professional, competent, and approachable image for which our company is known.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software
- Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)
- Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality
- Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
- Maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
- Perform network cabling and equipment installations
- Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
- Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
- Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
- Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders
- Resolve issues for clients via phone, in person, or electronically
- Recommend hardware and software improvements
- Track customer issues and resolutions via a cloud-based ticketing system, which we provide
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in IT and computer support
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Positive and professional demeanor

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- IT support: 1 year (Preferred)
- Windows or Networking: 1 year (Preferred)
