Job Title: Property Manager/Maintenance Person

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Property Manager/Maintenance Person to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our 44-unit residential property. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained living environment for residents. This position combines property management duties with hands-on maintenance and repair tasks.


Key Responsibilities:

- Property Management:

 - Oversee aspects of property management, including leasing, tenant communication, and resident satisfaction.

 - Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and identify maintenance needs.


- Maintenance Responsibilities:

 - Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.

 - Respond promptly to tenant maintenance requests and emergencies.

 - Maintain common areas, ensuring cleanliness and functionality (e.g., laundry rooms and outdoor spaces).

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in property management or maintenance is a plus.

- Proven experience in property management and maintenance, preferably in residential settings.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle tenant inquiries and issues professionally.

- Proficiency in basic maintenance tasks, tools, and safety protocols.

- Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Basic computer skills; experience with property management software is a plus.


Preferred Experience:

- Previous experience managing a residential property of similar size (40+ units).

- Familiarity with local housing laws and regulations.

- Plumbing, electrical, or HVAC certification is a plus.


Working Conditions:

- The requires availability for on-call emergencies outside of regular business hours.

- Physical stamina to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting and moving equipment.


Housing Option:

- A one-bedroom apartment may be available as part of the compensation package, depending on qualifications and property needs.
